Welcome to Villa Jolly Mon, formerly known as Villa Colorado.

I first visited St. John in 2008 on a trip with friends and immediately knew it was somewhere that my Dad would love. He visited shortly thereafter and we started coming regularly on holiday. He even adopted a dog on-Island!

St. John was hit by hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017. Just three short months later, our family unexpectedly lost my Dad, who had fallen in love with the island and had purchased this special property. It was devastating returning to such an amazing place with so much destruction and after such a devastating loss. The house was slowly repaired and Villa Colorado continued to welcome visitors on their vacations for years to come.

The Villa was originally named Villa Colorado by the four couples who built this special home, as they were all from Colorado.

The name "Jolly Mon" comes from a Jimmy Buffet song and book that my Dad and I used to sing when I was a child and that I now enjoy with my daughter. The song is about the power of music, friendship and loyalty - as well as a reminder that kindness, art and optimism will prevail over hardship. Villa Jolly Mon is renamed for my Dad who loved music, as well as this island and it's inhabitants. Like many who find St. John - this was his happy place.
